519 guest was designed to offer an affordable space for artists to visit Seattle for short-term stays & residencies, and to provide the art community with a space to offer arts-related guests for brief stays in downtown Seattle. The room is located on the 2nd floor of our art studio building at 519 Art Studios, in the Japantown area of the International District a few blocks from the Pioneer Square galleries.
519 guest includes a simple but stylish upper bed-loft with a luxurious mattress & bedding. The lower portion has a couch, desk & chair, and other basic furniture. There's a shared kitchenette and 2 bathrooms with a shower just down the hall, free wifi & TV, and an abundance of great shops & restaurants in a very cool neighborhood.
The building is perfectly located for all forms public transportation: the Light Rail train stop is one block away for easy and affordable access to SeaTac airport; the studio is located near a number of major bus hubs; the Bolt Bus stops a block away; King St Station (Amtrak) is 3 blocks away; and the waterfront ferry terminal is a just a short walk.
